We are pleased to announce the brand new release from Dj Inko and his new EP “Downtown Funk” consisted by four funky house tracks. The EP idea was born from the curiosity of how funk music could fit onto house music, and the target was to achieve a harmonic combination of 70’s and 80’s funk music elements & grooves with similar style organic drums in modern house music aesthetic. All of the 4 tracks are DJ friendly and intentionally sound warm and bassy due to the unique analogue mastering treatment.

DJ Inko, known as Kostis Papatzimas is an international DJ & music producer, born in Greece and lives between London (UK) and Thessaloniki (GR). He got involved with music by studying violin, piano and music harmony and later he started collecting vinyl’s and dj’ing. He is currently a resident DJ at the Big Chill Bar and a regular DJ of Movimientos in London - UK.

Inko studied audio engineering & music & technology. His music has been featured and supported by several well-known DJs & producers on record labels, shows, blogs and music platforms around the world such as: Boiler Room, Junodownload and more.
